Matthias Matic
Senior Advisor
With more than 30 years of international leadership experience, Matthias Matic has led global businesses through growth, transformation, restructuring and organizational change in complex and highly competitive environments.
Throughout his executive career in the automotive industry, he held senior global leadership positions, including nearly 18 years of full P&L responsibility across Europe, North America and Asia. Most recently, as Executive Vice President Business Area Safety & Motion and Member of the Continental Automotive Sector Board, he was responsible for one of Continental's largest global automotive businesses.
His career combines strategic and operational leadership with extensive international and cross-cultural experience, including Chairman and Board roles in international joint ventures and legal entities in Japan, China and India.
Today, Matthias works with CEOs, owners and investors as an independent Executive Advisor and sparring partner. Having spent most of his career making and implementing complex business decisions himself, he brings a pragmatic, fact-based perspective to situations where strategic clarity, sound judgment and leadership experience matter.
His approach is focused on what really matters: creating clarity, setting the right priorities and translating decisions into disciplined execution. Matthias believes that clarity precedes performance
