Even as a turnaround manager in medium-sized companies and interim manager at C-level at home and abroad, the founder of KEYPLAYER, Sebastian Bretag, has often experienced in companies how difficult it is to find the right managers for critical tasks and key positions and how crucial the right and effective staffing can be for success and failure. When he changed his perspective as a director and partner at market-leading interim management providers, he quickly realized what the key factors for sustainable customer satisfaction are. That was his motivation and the starting signal for KEYPLAYER and strong, recommendation-based growth with like-minded colleagues who share this perspective, this claim and these values and represent them in their segments for KEYPLAYER: We stand for maximum recommendation security with a Performance-Guarantee and leave your success not to chance.

Our management team
Partner & Director Automotive & Mobility
After more than 15 years in various key positions in the automotive industry, Alexander Kujumdshiev has a wealth of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle sector as well as in related industries such as mechanical engineering and energy.
Before joining KEYPLAYER as Director Automotive, he successfully managed both strategy and product areas at a leading global automotive supplier. As Managing Principal of a management & technology consultancy, he supported a large number of clients over many years with tailor-made implementation programs in areas such as product development, efficiency improvement, organizational development and supplier management in the automotive industry.
As a management consultant, he himself held management positions both at group level and in medium-sized companies, for many years mainly in North America and Europe. Among other things, he was responsible as an interim project manager for the development of an engine production line and as a strategy consultant for the planning and implementation of a global reorganization of an OEM's development division.
Alexander Kujumdshiev holds a degree in industrial engineering with a specialization in corporate management and production engineering. He has also acquired numerous additional qualifications in the areas of Six Sigma, Project Management, Agile, Scrum, Compliance etc.
As a passionate car enthusiast, he often spends his free time in and among his old and new vehicles.
Partner & Director, Mechanical and Plant Engineering
Daniel Spoo has been focused on the mechanical and plant engineering, automation and electrical engineering sectors as well as other manufacturing industries for almost 15 years.
His focus is on projects and programs in the areas of restructuring and turnaround, change and performance management, digital transformation as well as filling top management positions in traditional SMEs and DAX, M-DAX and S-DAX companies. Before becoming a partner at Keyplayer, he worked for many years as a director at a market companion that was sold to an American group and also made a name for himself as the owner of an executive search consultancy in automation technology.
Before Daniel Spoo discovered his passion for the manufacturing industry, he worked for a large German bank (DAX) and one of the world's largest internet platforms (NASDAQ), where he successfully built up the partner network.
CEO
Sebastian Bretag has more than 15 years of experience in restructuring and general management as well as interim management.
In recent years, Sebastian Bretag has supported medium-sized companies and private equity firms as a ‘trusted advisor’ in solving difficult management tasks when the company lacks its own resources or experience, especially in transformation and transition situations as well as in the permanent filling of key positions. Before joining KEYPLAYER as Managing Director, he held several partner and senior management positions at leading consulting firms, most recently at a market-leading interim provider. As an interim manager, he himself held management positions in high-end medium-sized companies in Germany and abroad, where he was responsible for the implementation of transformation and profit improvement programs, e.g. for a well-known German FMCG group in Asia, a logistics group in the UK and for medium-sized holdings of international private equity companies and also for DAX30 companies as part of carve-outs.
Sebastian Bretag holds an MBA from London Business School, Columbia University New York and Hong Kong University and teaches at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in his spare time. He has also lived and worked on three continents during his career. As a former competitive athlete, he has learned that you can only be excellent at something you are passionate about and live it 100%. KEYPLAYER bears his signature today and stands for this claim.
Co-CEO & Director
Bastian Cammann has more than 15 years of professional experience in management consulting and as a managing director. In recent years, he has been responsible for restructuring, change and growth programs in the consumer goods and retail sectors as Managing Director of various private equity portfolio companies. Finding the right fit for key positions has always been a critical success factor for him.
Prior to this, Bastian Cammann was responsible for the creation and implementation of restructuring and turnaround concepts as a partner and senior manager at leading consulting firms. He has worked across various industries in challenging situations, particularly in the upper midmarket at national and international level. His core competencies lie at a functional level, particularly in finance & controlling and in production & supply chain.
In addition to the Consumer Goods & Retail segment, Bastian Cammann is also responsible for managing the internal functions of the KEYPLAYER organization.
Bastian Cammann holds a Master of Science from the University of Hertfordshire in International Business with a focus on finance and corporate strategy.
